| 677460 | 2008-06-12 05:43:00 | But wasn't it proved that Global Warming is NOT caused by car emissions, cows etc and rather what's happening naturally, eg ice caps melting etc? | --Wolf-- (128) | ||

There are always conflicting views for everything. It could just be a cycle, and we are heading for another ice age, but I am sure that pollution and deforestation isn't helping. I think deforestation is far more of a concern than CO2 emmisions, as forests drink up the C02. |

| 677463 | 2008-06-12 05:56:00 | It is OPEC which is reducing supply, to get higher prices, and it is speculators that are driving the price up, as more petrol is being purchased, than is actually being supplied . OPEC do not appear to be reducing supply . foxbusiness . com/story/markets/industries/media/platts-survey-opec-pumps--million-barrels-crude-oil-day--bd-april/-417631867" target="_blank">www . foxbusiness . com |

So, it's melting ice caps that cause global warming? Things are easily fixed in that case, just send plane loads of tourists to the poles, and get them to throw out a few dozen ice cubes each until the warming stops. If it is happening too gradually to suit the overcoat industry, put on lots more flights. (I thought that global warming was caused by all that extra daylight savings we are having now. It all adds up y'know.) |
