No person has in fact, come up with a solution including me as far as I know.

All that does appear to be happening is a number of people having a debate about torrents etc and what software to use.

IIRC I hit the 'Close' button on uTorrent when Ubuntu had finished downloading and it went to the system tray - didn't quit - having it open in the background meant I was made a server :badpc:

Next time I download a torrent I will close it down completely and see what happens. So when I next download one I'll post back :)

677528 2008-06-12 10:48:00 You can get considerably faster downloads via torrents than Rapidshare could ever provide to us Kiwi's. Plus, Torrents don't cost a monthly subscription.

Who ever said you need to pay a monthly subscription to use RapidShare, An dthat includes Premium accounts they are easily available for free if you know where to look.

I never use Rapidshare to locate the files I want, I just use it to download them.

And RS is faster than torrents, I get great connection speeds during off peak times, and peak times isn't to bad either.

And if you use a download manager like DownThemAll makes for hassel free downloading of files.
