676995 2008-06-10 08:09:00 It looks pretty good but the screen is still too small and it still has an actual keyboard so they haven't moved on much in that area. I gather the next one will have a virtual keyboard. It also depends what 3rd party apps will be available for it. vitalstatistix (9182)

676999 2008-06-10 09:08:00 If the handset-price is right (< $400 NZD) I'll definitely get one.

See TV1 news? They said $260 for the 8gb.

I'd hate to be driving behind her then. Nothing like a crap driver that is completely distracted from what is happening in front of them and if you are texting while driving then that qualifies you as a CRAP driver.

Telecom said they "might" consider it at the end of the year

It doesn't make you a crap driver, it makes you a highly skilled driver.

That would be converting US dollars to NZ dollars. However VF wouldn't have set the prices in NZ yet, so expect it to be much higher, but I assume they will have cheaper deals for contracts. At least they won't be locked, at least not for now.

677004 2008-06-10 09:54:00 See TV1 news? They said $260 for the 8gb.That would just be a direct currency conversion: 199.00 USD = 263.761 NZD. There are no official prices for New Zealand yet or details on iPhone specific plans. I'll definitely be buying one though. Can't wait! :clap

Of note, the report on TV3 was significantly more accurate and informative than One's.
