I also wouldn't buy AOC, as the only reason you would is for cost reasons, and good brand monitors don't cost much more anyway |

Otherwise there has to be a certain number of dead or bright pixes, 5 I think, to warrant warranty replacement. That's why I like Viewsonic! AOC are crap monitors I'm sorry, I'm not surprised you have a stuck pixel, probably a chimei panel... yeah i myself buy exclusively viewsonic due to the warranty - had the exact same fault with my current one and viewsonic actually offered to pick it up and drop a new one off free of charge! but this was for my younger brother who didn't want a viewsonic and wanted to give AOC a try (and i told them they were cheaper for a reason) |

AOC has a 3 yr ONSITE warranty so he's best to ring their 0800 number as told and get it sorted. Although one pixel may not be enough, depends if its a zero dead or zero bright pixel warranty on that model, or whatever. Yep right - BUT the poster didn't say where he got it from till a later post , and it was from C1shoppingmall - so its up to them to do the RMA / sort out the problem/ solution, not the end user. |

I'm pretty sure Samsung use their own panels in most of their monitors - one of the reasons they have such a good rep. It pays to research what you're getting first though. |
