Those people are just as disgusting as the d******ds who did the shooting. You can relax, from the NZHerald "One man bought a pack of premixed drinks. Police initially said the man stole the drinks during the commotion, but the surveillance film shows him placing money on the counter before leaving with the drinks." |

| 677328 | 2008-06-11 00:39:00 | Every police tv drama I have ever seen, the police rush in and do something, not hang around waiting for clearance from head office. I said the police should have gone in, not the ambos ! ! ! That's TV for you! Plus even if that was the case ever noticed the cops on TV have weapons, the first responders in New Zealand are generally unarmed. |

Every cop car has two glocks in the back, and sergeants cars have rifles and bullet proof vests. I think the armed offenders should have escorted the ambulance in, flush the building out and then get them in. But it's easy to say that with the benefit of hindsight. The thing about criminals is that they don't follow a standard operating procedure... so you can't really make guesses for individual crimes. You've just got to move carefully and expect the worst. |

| 677330 | 2008-06-11 00:56:00 | Now, people ring you to say there has just been a shooting, are you going to rush in without taking precautions? Thats how people end up dead. According to the interview on TV the person who called the ambulance was in a car park, not in the shop. And even if he was, gunmen may hide in many areas, other shops, etc. |

| 677332 | 2008-06-11 01:18:00 | Perhaps if these scum bags were taken care of earlier in the career as criminals they wouldn't be in a position to be killing Indians? I'll eat my hat if those ****bags haven't spent the last 10 years breaking the law as often as possible. | Metla (12) | ||

True. And the cops have been saying for years for people to co-operate , give them what they want and you will be OK. Well that turned out to be wrong now and in the case of a ASB robery about 5 years ago.. Off course when these S..ts are cought they will get the best public defender / QC that tax payers money can buy to try and get them off.. |

| 677335 | 2008-06-11 01:49:00 | I wonder why someone at the scene did not put the victim in their car and rush him to hospital. Surely they would realise that he was in a bad way? If he went in the right direction he would have come across the ambos and they would have taken over - the wrong direction and he would have ended up in hospital. Anything would have been better than waiting even if the police and ambos had been called or not. He may still be alive had someone taken positive action. | Roscoe (6288) | ||
