| 676897 | 2008-06-09 22:50:00 | Just wondering if anybody subscribes to strange theories like belief in ghosts, ufos, ghost photography, evp, life after death, the loch ness monster etc A UFO is just an Unidentified flying object - so if you don't know what it is, its a UFO. But UFO as in LGM spaceships - no. Its all twaddle. Including ghosts. |

| 676898 | 2008-06-09 22:52:00 | Yer, UFO is a funny term. Everyone sees UFOs. They are not necessarily related to aliens, and since there are no aliens anyway, there is no correlation. It's a flying saucer that most people call a UFO. |

I believe in reincarnation and would prefer to think theres not nothing after we pass . I don't believe in heaven or hell . There just would not be enough room to house all the souls for ever and ever . Its just more time and space efficient to recycle . :thumbs: Ghosts . . . . . I haven't seen to believe but . . . . . when my son was about 3yrs old, for about 3 weeks he was terrified by this black thing that followed him around and watched him (no it was not his Shadow) and a couple of years ago he used to see this person/ thing which would stand in the corner of his room all scary looking . Some professionals at the hospital believed he was seeing something and referred me to a psychic . :eek: He is now 14 and he can still see things out of the ordinary . Drs think its due to his aspergers or possibly his high intelligence and creativeness??? I HAVE to see it to believe . Monsters . . . . Our world is very vast and there are many creatures yet to be found . Monsters are just animals yet to be classified . Possession . . . . Not too sure about that one . . . . I am guessing we all have a bit of devil inside of us . . . . . . :illogical Some believe that a person can be so evil or a death can be soooooo horrifying that the resulting evil lingers . There are also some who believe in ley lines, literally the highway to hell . When ley lines intersect bad energies can be pushed to the surface creating an evil energy . NZ supposedly has an enormous ley line running right through our entire country . . . :eek: As a non believer it at least makes for interesting reading . |

Also I like the Jap version of 'The Eye', the dude in the elevator was really well done! As for never-u-mind:Some believe that a person can be so evil or a death can be soooooo horrifying that the resulting evil lingers . Thats what alot of Japanese ghost stories are based on (the grudge being one that springs to mind, and the one when the mother tries to jump off this building . . . . hmmm, cant remember the title . . . ), like you say makes good reading or viewing . |

There must be a chance crap is going on that we have no chance of ever registering with our limited senses let alone comprehending with our limited brains. So, While I don't believe in Ghosts, Telepathy, or any rubbish spewed out by christians, What the hell do I really know for fact? |
