808619 2009-09-11 00:03:00 OK, also should i go for a 750w psu then upgrade the mobo to a xfx 780i with a 3 GHZ c2d e8400? smithinator (15240)
808620 2009-09-11 01:18:00 Meh...you are spending $320 on an old wolfdale cpu, $70 more you could have the latest Lynnfield @ $388 and $214 for the M/B...!!

How much are the other parts costing....?....What size is your monitor.....the 275 maybe overkill for your panel, and you could spend it better on current architecture...

808623 2009-09-11 02:00:00 Even the cheapest Lynnfield 1156 supports CF or SLI, @ $214, thats cheaper than your 780i!....get the latest i5 750 which is faster than any Intel Dual core when running only 2 cores.....
The prices will balance each other out....??
