680258 2008-06-19 06:40:00 Some of you may have seen this Japanese program mentioned before and I see that the BBC are going to make their own show (www.nzherald.co.nz) now. Somehow I just can't see the British doing it the same as the Japanese can. It is so much more funnier when you can't understand what they are saying but from their expressions you get the general idea.

You can find more of Human Tetris on YouTube - example (nz.youtube.com)

... those lycra suits are pretty special too.

680259 2008-06-19 06:46:00 I don't even find the Japanese version very entertaining and I can only imagine the British one will be slightly crappier. pine-o-cleen (2955)

680262 2008-06-19 08:32:00 You've got to be fully committed, no matter how ridiculous the thing you're doing, for it to work. Only the Japanese have this ability to seriously make complete pratts of themselves while smiling inanely the whole time, as if they are indeed honoured to fall into a cesspool for the purposes of mindless entertainment. 680263 2008-06-20 00:10:00 anything can be made entertaining ...
... including the participants being stuck in the cut-out when the partition stops moving due to electrical failure ...

I want to see someone put it better than that.

680265 2008-06-20 00:37:00 To paraphrase what Metla is bound to say: "You would have to be nuckin futs to be a participant in a show like that. And you're no better than the participants if you actually watch it".

OK, Metla??? :D
