Can someone please tell me how these are related to the crime wave? As I understand it, if you want alcohol, all you need to do is go somewhere esle, you dont have to buy it at your local... The armed robbers were there for the money, not alcohol, the home invasion, (no suspect yet, however Helen knows its related to alcohol), Asian woman ran over in the car park, (hey, get rid of Off Licenses), you wont have any more people in the Malls?? Knee jerk government at work.....dont worry about stiffer senstencing, or more policeman on the beat, or less protection for suspected crimes?... Man, am I tired of Clark.... Edit - Labout demonstrating once again that they are unable to establish cause and can only react to the results of the cause....oh dear..... |

The NEWS people reported that there are loads of alcohol selling places there and the COPS supposedly said there is a definite link to the spate of crimes. Then someone interviews the prime minister who didn't exactly agree with that idea....... and then someone else uses the half-assed facts to do a politician whinge again. Yawn. I dunno but OK theres bad criminals about, why do so many people feel the need to challenge guys carrying guns or try to snatch handbags back through car windows? |

So yeah, Shes nuts, and wearing a blindfold. At the very least she should be fired on the spot. If the lads feel like boozin it and causing trouble, It makes zero difference how many places you can buy the booze from. |
