809904 2009-09-13 21:24:00 Does anyone else that uses FireFox with Adblock Plus notice the subscribe ad now showing up on the left hand side of the screen?

Whats changed to cause that to appear?

It pushes the whole site to the right and I find that very annoying.

Just remove the table[bgcolor="#DF0026"], /*red banner at top of page*/ line and the title bar will come back.

You can do the same with the #navigation, /*grey fairfax navbar at top*/ if you want the grey bar back too, Bletch has made it really easy with his comments in the script. :D

809912 2009-09-14 00:28:00 hmmm I removed the left pane with the adblock extension and I lost the ability to reply to the posts.

Any ideas?

...click on the small arrow next to the ABP icon in the top left corner of the FF window and click on *Select element to hide*. Click on a piece of the empty column down the left hand side of the screen, and make sure you select the width option, otherwise the rest of the forum won't display properly...

Just go into ABP's preferences and delete the pcworld entry, the recreate it, make sure you tick the width option.
