679273 2008-06-17 10:52:00 I am not sure what sort of Google ads will arise from keywords like "Muffins" and "Stealing".... and "porn". :p Renmoo (66)

679276 2008-06-17 19:37:00 Bags are not cheap. You marry one then she walks out.

Might have been cheaper if she had... SWMBO has been around for 45 years next Saturday (I remember that as I met her on the longest day in 1963 at a mates wedding)

The cost of maintenance over the years has been tremendous... Not like having the car serviced, plus a wash and polish and 4 new tyres. Like man, I am talking seriously big dollars!!!!!

However, SWMBO is still a lovely lady after all these years -as I said before, bought me a new laptopon Sunday and still makes the best batch of cheese scones man could dream about - love her :wub :wub :wub

Do a search of the forum where you will find that Speedy had this information confirmed by someone working in law/courts. Stealing is stealing.

Why It's OK to 'Steal' Wi-Fi
blogs.computerworld.com

Computerworld Mike Elgan writes: I don't think it's unethical to "steal" Wi-Fi -- or even possible without deliberate hacking. And it shouldn't be illegal to simply use an open, unprotected wireless network. - BUT READ THE COMMENTS below the article as readers make very good points.

Some bags you get are small, but the longer you have them, the more they seem to stretch.

679279 2008-06-21 04:47:00 Just brought a new laptop yesterday. A new bag for it today. And to top it off, I'm posting this on my neighbour's unencrypted wireless network. Yep, life is good.

Why be proud of Stealing from someone that may well not be able to afford a new laptop and bag.
Suggest you do something to repay your neighbour and stop ripping them off.
Karma's a *****.

679280 2008-06-21 04:52:00 Section 249 of the Crimes Act (as of 27th March 2008)

Accessing computer system for dishonest purpose

(1)
Every one is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 7 years who, directly or indirectly, accesses any computer system and thereby, dishonestly or by deception, and without claim of right,—

(a)
obtains any property, privilege, service, pecuniary advantage, benefit, or valuable consideration; or

(b)
causes loss to any other person.

(2)
Every one is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years who, directly or indirectly, accesses any computer system with intent, dishonestly or by deception, and without claim of right,—

(a)
to obtain any property, privilege, service, pecuniary advantage, benefit, or valuable consideration; or

(b)
to cause loss to any other person.

(3)

In this section, deception has the same meaning as in section 240(2).

Part 10 (comprising sections 217 to 305) was substituted by a new Part 10 (comprising sections 217 to 272), as from 1 October 2003, by section 15 Crimes Amendment Act 2003 (2003 No 39).

Fun indeed but not very hard.... getl them to secure it first and then crack it - much more fun!!

Or if you think you're really good - sneak an ethernet cable in through the floor and into their router
