678918 2008-06-18 02:10:00 Many thanks jamesybOi - I thought it would charge via PC as I am sure I read something in the 1 Day advert before buying it. I have another matchbox size webcam that charges via the PC. I don't use this one though as it is not compatible with my VISTA and my technician can't even get it to be accepted by this PC. I still have my dear old PC and if I really need to I can connect the little webcam up to that. Talk about technology - I am really out of touch with it all.
Anyway, many thanks for your reply.

678921 2008-06-19 12:57:00 okie... after putting 3gb of music and videos onto the phone the battery is too low to even attempt to play them. so i turned it off and stuck in usb charger.... now it wont turn on at all and the battery seems completely dead.... decided to use mobile phone charger since same voltage and both li-ion and no luck either... grrr... how could all the battery discharge just by transfering files over! unless it hasn't been charging via usb all this time and finally ran out... jamesyboi (6579)

678923 2008-06-22 00:26:00 Thanks for that gus i thought i was going nuts! First day i couldn't get the 1G SD card to work, finally got it sorted but not until after i had got back from the duck pond with my daughter, typical!
I have also just spent a day and a half trying to figure out how to charge the freakin thing until i read you post about the 2 USB cables, i completely forgot about the other one in the box.

Cheers

678924 2008-07-04 10:43:00 If you want to purchase a battery charger for this little beast go to TradeMe Electronics & Photography - Camera Accessories - Batteries > Charger. Find trades by "justwholesale" and you will get the best little wall and car charger for $32 which is charger & postage.
The heading I found it under was :- Fuji FNP60 NP-60 Casio NP30 Wall & Car Charger.
If you can't find what you want then e-mail them @ wholesale.company@paradise.net.nz They also can supply batteries for same.
I priced a charger at Kodak and it was something like $89 and Battery $60. Their service is very prompt and reliable,
I was finding the battery wasn't charging too good via pc and is just tops with new charger. Best wishes.......NanaD

678925 2008-07-21 06:13:00 Help! How do you charge this thing? I bought it off 1-day as well and now that the battery has run out it won't seem to charge! I've tried both cables, left them connected to the PC for a few hours but no results. I have even pressed a few of the buttons on the camcorder so the light shows green instead of red while charging, but it's been a few hours and still no result.

Please help! Thanks :D

678926 2008-07-21 08:00:00 Sounds to me like a case of "you get what you pay for" Agent_24 (57)
678927 2008-07-28 04:30:00 umm, the short usb cable, connected to PC usb slot and camera when camera is turned off will make the camera's record button beep red, this indicates it is charging, it will stay red once it has finished charging, if it doesn't charge then try another computer perhaps your usb doesn't provide enough power or something. //

anyways only problem with this camera now is some mp3 files make it crash and when you copy the videos on to PC and try render them in vegas they come out as black if you render on highest quality, so have to convert to something like wmv first, such a bother!
