| 810145 | 2009-09-14 09:19:00 | Someone please help me I've downloaded a program called Rapidown and didnt know it was a virus, and now I cant get it off when i go to add remove programs and hit change remove to uninstall it all it does is launch rapidown. | 810146 | 2009-09-14 09:27:00 | Hi Rich, Disable system restore, then download ccleaner (www.ccleaner.com) (run both the Cleaner and Registry options). Download malwarebytes (www.malwarebytes.org), update it and run a full scan, and lastly, get Trojan Remover (www.simplysup.com), update it and run a scan. Run all the utilities from that menu also. If you're still having issues, download HijackThis (download.cnet.com) and post the logfile on here. Good luck!! |

| 810147 | 2009-09-14 09:43:00 | Download and run Revo Uninstaller: http://www.revouninstaller.com/ Open it up, then open up Rapidown Then click "Hunter Mode" in the Revo Uninstaller window then click rapidown, and select "Advanced" for uninstall mode. If the uninstaller doesn't run, don't worry, click next anyways and tick all bold registry items(DO NOT TICK ANY NON BOLD REG ITEMS!) At the next screen, select all and delete. Once thats down, download and run MBAM www.malwarebytes.org Perform a full scan, then remove all items, reboot if prompted. Finally, post a HijackThis log here for analysis. www.trendsecure.com Blam |
