| 809355 | 2009-09-12 09:42:00 | Hi, again. My nephew's desktop has only 256 MB RAM. Motherboard: MSI (Micro-Star) 8366-8233 Maximum Memory : 2GB (2 Slots ) Memory Type : 184-Pin PC2100 (266MHz) DIMM . If I buy & install a new 1GB module is it ok to leave the 256 card in place, giving a total of 1.256 GB or can this cause a problem ? I would expect this to be ok but thought I would check it out with one of the techs. Thanks, blanco. |

| 809357 | 2009-09-12 20:40:00 | Thanks GARY. Since yesterday, this forum is being displayed on my monitor differently. I now have 1/4 of the screen ( LH side) filled with Ads by Google from top to bottom. Are we all getting this ? I dont see any way of closure. |
