I notice that my default safety limit for CPU is 100C

EVGA 285 Superclocked Vid Card with 1 gig ram
12 gigs Corsair. Low Latency Ram
Corsair 1000 GHZ(or whatever the unit is) PSU
1 xSSD 260 gig Hard drive partitioned int two with Win 7 64bit in one and FSX in the other.
1 x 300gig Veloraptor ll HDD. (Still vacant)
26" Samsung monitor at 1900 x 1200
26" Viewsonic at 1600 x1050
---- are you still running with same equipment, same OC - and what are you using for CPU cooler?

I know my set-up is way lower spec, and the OC is only a mild one - but even at 3.0 compiling with all 4 cores, I never get above 60C

Same specs, but the vid card has been changed. Now has two gigs ram.

That's been over winter. What will it reach in summer?

It runs perfectly and never misses a beat.

811491 2009-09-18 05:03:00 thats way to hot, get a better cooler and cable tie a couple of 120mm fans in facing the motherboard to help the chipsets.

If its like that in winter it will most likely fry in summer
