| 811486 | 2009-09-18 01:47:00 | Jack - same - I'd be worried about those numbers. Quick question - from the last post I could find on your amazing rig ..... Intel QX 975 CPU o/clocked to 3.8. ASUS Rampage ll M.B. EVGA 285 Superclocked Vid Card with 1 gig ram 12 gigs Corsair. Low Latency Ram Corsair 1000 GHZ(or whatever the unit is) PSU 1 xSSD 260 gig Hard drive partitioned int two with Win 7 64bit in one and FSX in the other. 1 x 300gig Veloraptor ll HDD. (Still vacant) 26" Samsung monitor at 1900 x 1200 26" Viewsonic at 1600 x1050 ---- are you still running with same equipment, same OC - and what are you using for CPU cooler? I know my set-up is way lower spec, and the OC is only a mild one - but even at 3.0 compiling with all 4 cores, I never get above 60C |

| 811490 | 2009-09-18 04:54:00 | 82 is quite high Jack!, personally, I wouldnt go over 70-75 Actualy it often gets into the low 90's That's been over winter. What will it reach in summer? It runs perfectly and never misses a beat. |

| 811491 | 2009-09-18 05:03:00 | thats way to hot, get a better cooler and cable tie a couple of 120mm fans in facing the motherboard to help the chipsets. If its like that in winter it will most likely fry in summer |
