681613 2008-06-25 01:15:00 I just don't understand how people justify giving Wing a hard time, Shes a true talent, and a babe.
Granted she's cool in a "William Shatner Sings" kind of way, but could you handle listening to an entire album

Actually i would love to see Shatner and Wing do "I got you babe", I reckon that would be real classy

681614 2008-06-25 01:54:00 Wing is nothing compared to Florence Foster Jenkins, the original mother of bad singing. Look her up on youtube. Funny as hell.

She was wealthy beyond belief. She decided to rent, and put on a concert at Carnegie Hall... and sold out!

Actually, compared to some of the people I've seen go through BMusic degrees at Uni, she is good.

Just shows how useless Uni is for the arts. Scrape through at 51% and you can say you're a graduate.

681617 2008-06-25 02:13:00 Can't say it was actually a COVER song, but the "thing" by Yoko Ono on the back side of an album with John Lennon on the front and her caterwaul* on the B-side certainly makes it as one of the worst performances that could remotely be called music to date .

I don't think it was the "Twin Virgins" album . . . but does anybody know the name of the album of which I am speaking?

681621 2008-06-25 05:00:00 I nominate almost ANYTHING by William Shatner.

I must disagree. The Shat's version of Common People, with Joe Jackson, is just bloody hilarious, but in a "Yes, he is taking the Mickey" kind of way rather than a "oh my God he's so deluded" kind of way.

Don't mess with the Shat.
