Long on stirring, short on memory? Only having a few posts does not diminish my ability to read and retain. I just don't comment all that often, but I felt I could not let that pass. I managed a rise out of you :groan: (not unexpected) but I wondered why no response from you, Jen?:)Sorry, the using of this account rather than your other account confused me for a second. I did find your reported post under the other username eventually when I did a search. That matter was resolved. :) BTW, I work full time (not for FairFax) so I'm only on the forum when I get home from work. Moderating is something I do "after hours" in my spare time. If you are expecting a response earlier, then you are out of luck. :) |

While it would be great to allow a long term regular member like yourself to put up "for sale" stuff post, it would be very hard to regulate with new members deciding that this was OK as well. Where would you draw the line? But now you have mentioned you have a game for sale, people can PM you if they are interested. What was the name of that game again? Joe, it has been discussed many times before about having a "For Sale" forum on PF1 and it was decided this was not a viable option. It isn't just the spammers to keep under control but also the risk that if a sale went bad or someone was scamming, then would FairFax be drawn into the disagreement? Hmmm - so what is the policy exactly? It appears that although you said "no, sorry" - you then say "people can PM you if they are interested. What was the name of that game again" so is the following one OK too? and any others that may follow that? Computer for sale (forums.pcworld.co.nz) . |
