681937 2008-06-24 23:25:00 Regarding speakers, IMO for what they cost you can buy better. Their cheap sets sound cheap yet cost more then comparable speakers, and their high-end ones are just expensive, You can buy an amp and some floor speakers for the same price that would kill them for quality of sound. 681938 2008-06-25 00:11:00 And their products realy work. No buggering around looking for drivers. JJJJJ (528)
681939 2008-06-25 00:53:00 I have the same speakers as PCTek, but put headphone on when gaming, have the mx3200 and the Momo wheel.....
Just had to repair the pedals but all good.

681940 2008-06-25 01:06:00 What do you guys think of the logitech brand? A cheaper alternative?

I ask as I realise Im getting surrounded by there stuff.

So why are you asking about Logitech?
I have a Logitech Keyboard + Mouse. Also have a Logitech Joystick.
Personally I use Creative speakers along with Xifi sound card for music.

681943 2008-06-25 03:44:00 Only thing with some of their products (ie: webcams) the software if you install it, installs too much crap. Speedy Gonzales (78)
681944 2008-06-25 06:26:00 I have a set of the Z-5500 5.1 THX speakers and, for the price, they blow anything else away.

Ditto, cant beat them at all.

681945 2008-06-25 08:31:00 Just brought a logitech universal remote. Freakn' awesome. As part of my job my company supplies and programs universal remotes, our cheapest one is $600 +GST + Labor (approx 2 hours - for programming) and the logitech (almost) does everything ours do, for about $170!

Just sold one the other day for $2500 + labor.

All you do is go through a wizard that asks you your AV components (model #'s etc) and which input you switch to to play a dvd etc and hey presto macros all working perfectly!

Brilliant.
