| 681593 | 2008-06-24 05:36:00 | Anyone covering the Beatles, bar almost none. I don't think I've ever heard a Beatles cover that I've liked. I think that's Ringo's fault, he's just uncopyable (not a word, but who cares?). The others I'm not so fussed with. Pretty hard to top a Beatles song but Aerosmiths "I'm Down" and Joe Cocker "With a little help from my freinds" & "She came in through the bathroom window " aren't bad. Better anyway than whoever does the telecom ads version of "Come together"....ruddy arwful!!! |

A nice heavy version of Tears for Fears' Shout. My Dying Bride did a nice version of Portisheads' Roads, and Some Velvet Morning. Check it out Rob, you might like it. |
