/*remove ads and misc branding clutter, clean up layout */
table[bgcolor="#DF0026"], /*red banner at top of page*/
#navigation, /*grey fairfax navbar at top*/
td[width="165"], /*left ads*/
div[style="margin:0 0 5px 0"], /*top ads*/
p[align="center"][style="margin:0px auto"], /*more top ads*/
p[align="center"][style="margin: 0px auto;"] ins, /*even more top ads (firefox only)*/
div[style="margin:5px auto"] div[style="width:100%; text-align:center"], /*and a few more top ads*/
#sponsor_div, /*bottom ads*/
div[style="width:302px; float:left; margin-right:10px; border:1px solid #cccccc; padding:5px; "], /*more bottom ads*/
#adSpace2, /*even more bottom ads*/
iframe[name="google_ads_frame"] /*various google ads*/
{display: none !important;}

/*fix damaged alignment in forum thread list & forum header*/
td[align="center"] {text-align: left;}

/*remove new PressF1 forum logo*/
img[src="pcworld.co.nz {display: none !important;}

/* 2009-10-29 12:56
* Changed width of left ad column (thanks R2x1 for noticing this)
* Removed a new div containing more top ads
* Removed google ads iframes
* Removed the new logo
*/
Please see this (pressf1.co.nz) post for instructions on how to use it.

Edit:
Note that this won't get the two 'inner' ads on the search page, as they are served inside an iframe from the www.google.co.nz domain. It should get everything else though - if I've missed something, please let me know!

I've put the logo block in a separate section, so if you like the new logo you can easily turn it back on without mucking up anything else.

I can block the last two search page ads if you want me to write another style for google.co.nz, but there's a risk it may creep a little and nab more than just the ads on the PressF1 search page - thoughts?

810282 2009-10-29 00:50:00 its changed from a site style to a global style, what does that mean.

and the color of the 's' icon has grayed out , before it was colored.

just a couple of observations.

good work though :thumbs:

810283 2009-10-29 00:52:00 its changed from a site style to a global style, what does that mean.It means you screwed up applying it - go take another look at the instructions and do it properly, otherwise it'll start eating parts of other sites too.

Edit: The CSS needs to go inside the { } brackets provided by stylish.

You're still running an old version of the CSS - grab the latest one from the first post in this thread.

810288 2009-10-31 00:36:00 Hmmm - you want me to take a look via TeamViewer and see if I can figure out what's going wrong? What you've got there should definitely be working. Erayd (23)
