Something I took on board at the time but I would like some justice in my lifetime. Waits patiently to get more replies and for a person or persons to answer my questions. Where does the money go and will the settlements help the average Maori? |

Waits patiently to get more replies and for a person or persons to answer my questions. Where does the money go and will the settlements help the average Maori? The money typically is invested, and goes to educational scholarships, housing funds, and other good deeds. The list of things it DOESN'T go on pretty much includes: Free beer for every member of the tribe, Harley Davidsons, Pay outs to everyone in the tribe, LCD Screens. Usually they do pretty good things with it. They're looking after their own. There's no point arguing with you guys about it though. It seems everyone here has their own set opinions, and we're not going to change them. So this is a bit redundant really. We just love listening to ourselves talk. |

Back in 1840 the colonists did not use dollars so therefore maybe you just grabbed the figures out of airspace? The figure of $20 billion is based mostly upon what Ngai Tahu lost through the "tenths" deal not being honoured. |

This way I (and others) may learn. If you are not prepared to debate rather than argue then I guess the thread is pointless anyway. What do you mean by redundant given the context above? I hope when you talk to yourself you do not answer back. |
