2008-06-24 02:24:00 | I'd help break it!! Why should they get a break, when they've been dragging the chain for so many years??

2008-06-24 02:44:00 | Dragging the chain? They damn well stole the chain and the anchor to use as necklaces for customers. | R2x1 (4628) | |
2008-06-24 02:50:00 | "Telecom ............. is changing further and faster that comparable telcos overseas." Sure it is...........................TUI AD.

2008-06-24 03:09:00 | Most of the big IT projects like the Police Computer one and numerous Health Board ones that failed or cost far too much had customers that kept changing their requirements. Why shouldn't Telecom expect the politicians to put up and shut up? Labour and National aren't paying for their changing demands.

2008-06-24 03:10:00 | "Telecom ............. is changing further and faster that comparable telcos overseas." Sure it is...........................TUI AD. No, no - I believe them. But they're playing catch-up, big-time. It would also be interesting to hear what Telecom consider "comparable telcos overseas".... (visions here of a telco in Afghanistan or Tchad or Uzbekistan)

2008-06-24 04:37:00 | The telco in Uzbekistan would probably end up being better. | beeswax34 (63) | |
2008-06-24 04:59:00 | I'd help break it!! Why should they get a break, when they've been dragging the chain for so many years?? If you were an international company, would you invest in NZs telecommunications infrastructure. Especially with such volitle government policies, where they can change the rules at anytime. I think they are in a bit of a no win situation.

2008-06-24 05:05:00 | Well, the international telco's leapt in like a suction device - no competition, no real rules - Whoopee. The answer to a greedy clown's dream. Some other bunch of clowns wandered in later and tried the vacuum technique - then alas, rules appeared. If they can't hack that, tough. They have been playing fast and loose treating the suckers with arrogant indifference far too long. Now they want sympathy? Serve a bit more Tui.

2008-06-24 06:19:00 | The best thing they could do to catch up and for us to give them a break would be to drop their horrendous charges to call a mobile from a landline. And to make voice calls on mobiles to other mobiles. We do not want any more best mates, txt friends, family, dog etc etc. Just DROP THE BASIC RATE say 10 cents a minute per year ! They might find that people make more voice calls rather than texting.
