681491 2008-06-23 09:51:00 Bought this phone from Vodafone's retail outlet for my daughter earlier this month. It looks great but the phone locks while she is playing the game Tetris. We have to remove the battery in order to turn it OFF. It happens a few times while playing the same game. Took it back the the retailer and they replaced a new phone for us. It works fine for the first couple of days and the same problem develops. Other than this particular issue, this phone looks OK.

What do you guys suggest we should do? Return it and change to another model or make? What brand and model you folks recommend? Not prepared to spend much more than this one, though. Anyone in this Forum using this model with the above problem? If 2 phones with the same problem, it must be a design issue. Am I right? Or, it's just the game that Vodafone loaded is causing the problem?

I know too little about mobile phones. :o

Cheers

If I were to keep sending it back (it's time consuming and annoying), what you reckon they will finally do?

681495 2008-06-24 00:51:00 Returned the phone and after some exchanges of the interpretation of the CGA with the Manager, they agreed to give me a refund. But, the Manager says it will take about 10 days for the cheque to reach me. I accepted it since there isn't any better options.

Is 10 days a reasonable?

It's better than a phone that won't work. I think that is about the normal time frame.
