| 811314 | 2009-09-17 10:34:00 | Hello I am trying to install a new 2nd hand Acer Vuego 4300U scanner on my wife's computer. I have located a site from which to get the driver but it suggested a registry scan to look for problems. Needless to say UniBlue registry booster 2009 found 793 errors!!!!! Before I click Clean Registry I thought I should ask all you experts if this program is safe. Is it safe????:help: |

| 811317 | 2009-09-17 12:10:00 | Here are the drivers you want, from a reliable source: www.techspot.com And "optimization" programs such as UniBlue are a waste of time and money. Grab CCleaner and give it a whirl if you want to clean your registry. Blam |

What has that got to do with drivers? If the manufacturers site doesn't have the driver anymore, then DriverGuide is the best place to look. |

If you are unsure about what sites are reliable, WOT (www.mywot.com) for firefox is quite useful. Uniblue is a steaming heap of crap, uninstall it. Get CCleaner as Gary and GJ mentioned. |
