Safari beat me to it... :P She bought a McBook with Apple monitor,with no help up in Tauranga. Her son is a graphic artist and told her the only computer to have is the apple,she of course believed him,silly girl. He is in Auck and not much help. Will look at all suggestions when she calls in tonight,thanks a lot chaps. |

They are overpriced and you can get the same panel in a cheaper display with better connectors (HDMI etc) At first I thought its because apple monitors use mini display port/mini dvi, but then the macbooks should as well. Unless the monitor is a newer generation than the macbook; the monitor will have a mini dp but the macbook will only have mini dvi. In this case (which may not be yours) you'll need to shell out for an adaptor. |
