683126 2008-06-28 00:27:00 When slavery was rampant in Dear Ol' Dixie, and was South of the Mason-Dixon Line ( . wikipedia . org/wiki/Mason_dixon_line" target="_blank">en . wikipedia . org), the North went to war over the issue .

States South of that imaginary, but REAL line were running cotton, tobacco, hemp and rice with the aid of black slaves .

There were Northerners, to be sure, who capitalized on the slaves and their cheap labor . . . these people who took advantage of that were called "Carpet Baggers" for the traveling bags (suitcases and such) that they carried .

OK . . enuff of a history lesson . . . . . . now I have a resurfacing of slavery . . and this time in Yankee-Land . . . or North of the Mason-Dixon Line:
