812569 2009-09-21 13:33:00 Hi all.

Just a little Q? Any one no what these 4 holes are for? on sum pics on the net the case has them but on other photos the case hasnt. I have the case and its got them.

:help: they are not normal mobo screws as you can see the mobo holes are a differant style.

812570 2009-09-21 13:36:00 Probably for an MATX / ATX or BTX mobo. Email the people who made it Speedy Gonzales (78)

812573 2009-09-21 22:01:00 that looks like cpu heatsink mount locations. so you can fit big and heavy heatsinks that would normally break the motherboard. the heatsink mounts to the case to take the strain off the motherboard. tweak'e (69)
812574 2009-09-21 22:04:00 And how exactly would that cool the CPU, if its not on top of the CPU? Speedy Gonzales (78)
812575 2009-09-21 22:12:00 They are on top of the cpu,but bolted through the board rather then attached to the cpu socket/motherboard.

Not that I necessarily think that's what those holes are for, But its not an unheard of system for mounting a heavy heatsink.
