682559 2008-06-26 04:15:00 There's some gold in this story:

www.wxii12.com

such as:

"Officials learned last year the common acronym stands for a vulgar phrase in e-mail and cell phone text messages."

Where have they been?

Or how about:

"The DMV recently realized the same letters appeared on the sample license plate on its own Web site. Officials are trying to remove the plate from the site."

They are trying to remove it?? What's the problem? Someone screwed it on too hard?

Although heaping irony on irony, it appears they would not have realised it was a WTF moment, seeing as how they don't know what WTF is.:D

Since when has POS been "parents over shoulder"???

The whole lot are fairly lame, but that made me lol.

Hahahah - that little photo montage of acroynms is priceless. Apart from POS, since when did teenagers waste time inventing acroynms about their parents?

It's like someone there wentt ot the youngest person on staff and said "hey, you're nearly a kid, compile a list of acronyms teenagers use", so they went ahead and made a bunch up.

682568 2008-06-26 07:30:00 Didn't a few years back, some guy in NZ had a license plate saying H8ACC and H8DPB or something similar. It was on the either Fair Go or Close up Show

And...
www.plates.co.nz

We can be quite creative on this...
