| 1444162 | 2017-12-29 19:51:00 | I am told that Waitomo Petroleum has the cheapest petrol. We are heading down to the South Island for a holiday next year and I was looking to see if they had any petrol stations down there but have not been able to find any and have been`wondering if I have been looking in the right place. Does anyone have any ideas where to look? I'd appreciate your help. Thank you. |

Normal price wise maybe, but with Z Energy offering discounts with Fly Buys, they come in under and Gull's self service standard price is normally cheaper too. I do not know whether under review they managed to pull a quick one, as they never are the cheapest. Here in Te Kuiti we have probably the cheapest gas (or use to) in the North Island, but rarely does anyone use Waitomo Petroleum, here it's only if you can't be bothered travelling to the outskirts of Te Kuiti (less than 8mins) and discovering it's packed, which all our service stations normally are. |

| 1444168 | 2017-12-30 05:45:00 | There's a smartphone app called Gaspy that's pretty good, will show you all the prices in your area as reported by other users and give you addresses. I find it fairly accurate although it doesn't take discounts into account as far as I can tell. For example from the app in Hamilton 91 prices range from 1.959 at Waitomo Te Rapa to 2.089 at Gasoline alley in fifth ave, quite a range. Gull is second cheapest at 1.987 |
