| 1443293 | 2017-12-11 07:06:00 | Hi All Somewhere some time I have lost my collection of email contacts. I have found a very old list, a really very old list in my "Junk Folder", Trouble is that it is on an Exel page. How do I get that into my Outlook.com Contacts? While I am here , the Outlook.com has changed into a much different look, which I don't like. I now have Thunderbird installed so I might need to put the Address book in there as well. I wonder if I have been changed from the Office 365 version down to plain old Outlook. Possible? Whats the latest on MS changing email systems? Anything good that a silver haired old git will be able to understand? Thanks. PJ |

Perhaps they werent bought across to the new laptop(?) , or perhaps never imported into Thunderbird ? Moving contacts from one email client to another can be a pain. Would need more info. Do you still have office365 subscription,if yes: are you using Outlook the program, or using Outlook Webmail (via a broswer:Chrome IE etc) , or has something happened & somehow you are now on WinMail (Win10's built in email program) . I just checked outlook.com webmail, they do have a a new, test layout (optional) Sorry if this just adds more FUD :) |

More than one Outlook. I was using MS Office Outlook. & in one of the last Updates got put into "ordinary" Outlook, ( Outlook.com?). So I looked up The Office Suite & there was a different Iconn for mail. I loaded it aagain & lo & beehold I have got the version with the address book in it. I think your Para 4 sums it up. Thanks for the heelp. PJ |
