| 1443239 | 2017-12-10 18:43:00 | The tree is over 4 metres tall, the "fruit" is similar in size to a very large grape. It has a spongy feel, has a large pip, very soft flesh, and smells sort of grassy and vaguely sweet. 8497 8498 8499 |

| 1443242 | 2017-12-10 19:47:00 | The leaves do look like plums. If you really want to be certain though, take that leaf and fruit down to your local garden centre, they'll tell you. |

| 1443244 | 2017-12-10 20:14:00 | Well bugger me george, I would never in a thousand years thought it might be a plum. But evidence is indicating it could well be. Wikipedia shows the leaf almost identical to a mirabelle variety of plum, which comes in a small yellow sort of fruit. I sure hope this is right cos the tree is loaded with the things, and I love plums. But I'll check with the greengrocer first before I risk tucking in. Thanks for the replies. |

| 1443248 | 2017-12-10 22:56:00 | Zippity said greengage plum. When I was a kid we had both greengage and yellowgage plums growing. I loved the fruit from both but the yellow ones were softer and a bit sweeter. Check out yellow gage plum. | Marnie (4574) | ||
