1443823 2017-12-19 20:02:00 Late Edit: At the bottom of that first link, follow it to the bottom, there are a lot of other books for 'borrow' that have gone public for some more great reading.

One of the most interesting is from Mark Twain (Samuel L. Clemons) and it concerns a lot of the local 'colo(u)r" of Montana in his day. Titled: "Innocents Abroad" it captures a lot of interesting things that he observed and wrote about whilst travelling in a stagecoach, stripped down to his nethers, riding on mail sacks and meeting some interesting people - winning/earning a small fortune and losing it again, repeatedly, on the travels.

Here is a free copy of the manuscript. (www.google.com %2F3176-h%2F3176-h.htm&usg=AOvVaw36j-HDuKO5OeWRqBQsWBnm)

1443825 2017-12-19 21:52:00 He would have no authority in Montana unless he was in "fresh pursuit" of a suspect, with whom he had not allowed out of his sight . Once he lost sight of his prey he'd have to call Montana authorities to let him go with them as their guest officer . . . . . . . if they would even consider that .

This isn't just true of Montana though . Each state exercises it's own sovereignty under a Federal-Constitutional guideline .

In that: Federal laws trump state laws and state laws trump county laws and county laws trump city laws . Unincorporated zones outside of city jurisdictions are usually under the county in which they lie .

I live in an unincorporated part of Hamilton . . . . . and the state police and county officers have jurisdiction here . We have a High Sheriff and his deputies as our pri

But there are law enforcement agencies that could go interstate? Like DEA, US Marshall Service, FBI, and Bounty Hunters? or Interstate troopers - or are they restricted per state only .

As for bear chasing, rangers could provide tranquilizer rifles? Or stun weaponry Or do they require approved licence for weaponry and FDA approved tranquilizers?

Sorry - just saw this post . . . . .

DEA, US Marshals, FBI and bounty hunters are OK - the latter if they are registered with their local authorities for CCW, etc .

I do not know of Interstate Troopers - that term doesn't ring a bell to me - but that's not stating they don't exist .

The FAA can go throughout the nation including Alaska and Hawaii as can NASA and the FDA and DOT .

But there's one group that cannot 'work' inside the US borders .
