| 1443253 | 2017-12-12 03:59:00 | They look like yellow plums, seeing the inside might confirm that, if the stone is flat like and pointed like an arrow tip, the meat of fruit colour is yellow too. What I can't see is that distinctive line that plums have from your photo. |

And yep its definitly a plum. Not very nice, but I think that's 'cause they're not quite ripe. The taste is quite subtle, and I guess they'll be quite sweet when ready. |

You'll know they are getting ripe when the tree is covered in birds , and the plums all covered in bird poop ...if my plum tree is anything to go by . Then as they fall, you'll get drunk birds doing strange things , as they eat the fermenting fruit You'll have so many plums you have trouble giving them away, so after some years dont even bother trying & just let them drop The novelty of eating too many in one hit wears off , as that tends to really open up the sluses at your other end :) |
