Looks like some of them are made in Albania Now I'm off to customise my Windows 10 desktop..... and work on my Office 365..... |

Sure they sell a Few in the USA, and Only Dell by the linked article . Doing a search on Dell NZ, only brings up 1 ( OMG a whole 1 Computer):eek: and even that's a Server with the option of Linux . Where as windows based there are lots more . From the link provided by yourself Because none of the main notebook vendors – bar Dell – offer Linux as an OS option, Hardly overwhelming is it---- Must be chuffed :D As previously mentioned, totally agree that a lot of servers, phones, tablets and other hand held devices run some sort of Linux, BUT the original question was relating to Desktops and laptops NZ retail shops . Sure you know the difference between them, . As I said before, a guy I used to work for always said many people who know they cant give a truthful answer often go off on a tangent or answer as if its a different question, politicians are experts at it . Had enough today of this thread -- going to play / Stream some music or watch videos on my perfectly working, never gives any problems W10 Desktop . :) |

Chrome books and Macs, lets remember they both stole Linux code and called it their own. As stated I use Windows because it works no hassles at all, I use Linux because it works but not as well so its not my main OS. One is not better than the other they are just different, all this hate for one or the other reminds me if of the troubles in NI Catholic v Protestant. |
