2017-12-28 03:58:00 | There is something I should make clear and that is Windows 10 is an operating System in its own right, but “Linux” covers a multitude of Operating Systems that come under the “Linux Umbrella”. I can only vouch for the Mint – Cinnamon – Sarah version as it is the only one I’ve tried and have no reason to look elsewhere. There may be versions of Linux that I'd find every bit as disappointing as Win 10, but I’m not going looking for them. :)

2017-12-28 07:00:00 | Linux is such a good OS (for general consumers) that even thought its free, and has been around for about 30 years it has a market share of about 2%. Can you see a mom and dad going into Hardley Normal and asking for a Linux Laptop for their daughter?

2017-12-28 17:59:00 | it has a market share of about 2%. Maybe you would be good enough to link us to where you obtained this figure of 2% and how it was arrived at Digby? I found this interesting as it seems if you break Windows down into versions you get a whole different picture. Unfortunately Win 10 isnt on the board yet. 8596 And you must remember the argument isn't about all of Windows, it is specific to Win 10 ;)

I'm not fussed either way I use Windows10 as it just works for me I also use Linux Mint as that also just works but is harder to figure stuff out with |

2017-12-28 19:36:00 | Liking is not limited to I don't like it's looks. I don't have an issue with the layout especially, a bit too much crapware, but that was removed. The issue I have is the forced installation of crud, the enormous size of the forced installs and the ever increasing taking control. And funny how when the likes of lenovo bundle keyloggers there is a fuss all over, and when MS does it people rush to defend them. keylogger is a keylogger, no matter who or why it's done.
