1444022 2017-12-25 09:47:00 Just wondering if you guys know it . . . Have tried google to no avail so far .

From the late 1980s to early 1990s .
Dungeon type game .
2D .
The character is a knight but you could upgrade the equipment and the sword etc can be longer and the armour would be stronger .
You get to certain areas and there are shops where you can upgrade your equipment .
I remembered there is one shop that it transports you backward or forward to different part of the game when you had to get back and do something first . . . there was one building who suggest you help you but they fool you and instead you go back some parts of the game . . .
Available on a PC, playable on a 386 .

Thanks in advance .

1444023 2017-12-25 12:18:00 Could you describe how it looked, was it isometric, what colour did the character look like, what type of enemies, bosses you faced. A lot of these games were ported from other platforms and I don't have a particular game in mind yet, but if you describe its style, whether it was side scroller etc, also controls, did it use a mouse? That describes heaps of them sadly .

Dungeon keeper?
Heroes of Might and Magic?
Dark Castle?

Pools of Radiance (whole bunch of D&D games)

Or have a look here:

1444025 2017-12-25 21:28:00 Thanks for that list .

The graphics wasn't quite as old as Pools or Radiance . It was 2D looking like the classic Mario brothers . You go left and right maybe up and down the levels but you didn't really walk up and down in that 3D sense .

The character was a knight in silver armour with a shield and holding a sword that always pointed up, as you upgraded the sword it would become longer . The sword would only change positions when you attack .

The controls I think was just keyboard .

The graphics was something like Prince of Persia, like this:

1444028 2017-12-26 00:55:00 The game might be hosted on the internet archives like here. (archive.org) Or add internet archives to your search terms in Google like this... (goo.gl) kahawai chaser (3545)
