And then ignore everything you ever get from then. You follow one link to them and they think you want it all again.

1442946 2017-12-03 06:28:00 Messages from individuals can be blocked by clicking on the gear symbol on the message and click on block messages. Whenu (9358)
1442947 2017-12-03 19:53:00 There are no emails in Facebook, so I presume that you mean either posts or messages. If you "un-follow" that person then you won't see their posts. If you "un-friend" the person on Facebook, then that takes it that extra step. If you need to be guided into how to do either then let me know in a new post to this thread.

I suggest that you do this rather than leave Facebook which can be very good once you know how it works, which then puts you in charge of what you see and who you relate to.

1442948 2017-12-03 21:01:00 Facebook does have an Email notification setting. From the drop down arrow on the right hand side pick settings, then Email, click the edit button and change the settings to suit.
Personally I just kept turning off notifications until it stopped bugging me. I really don't care if someone playing some facebook game sent me something for example. The irritating thing is it can take many attempts to shut it up.

On the subject of facebook, I recommend uninstalling the app if you have an Android smartphone and have it installed. It offers nothing you can't do with the browser on the moblie page, is a battery hog, and is just downright annoying IMHO.
Also if it tries to convince you to install messenger to read a message, don't. You can just switch to desktop mode in your browser and read the message from there.

In case you can't tell, I use facebook a bit but I don't like a lot of things about it.
