| 1442196 | 2017-11-19 20:23:00 | Somehow I have access to my wife's Google account on my tablet . I get her email and I don't need to see "Make-up Tips For Skydiving", "How To Cook A Kiwi", "Fats And You", "Look Great In The LBD", etc, etc . I don't know for sure, but I believe that SYNC got involved and now I get all her mail . How can I get her out . . . without killing her account in her Google-stuff too on her tablets and phones? If I accidentally destroy her account across the Internet . . . . i won't get her homemade bread for a long long time . |

If the tablet has been set up using your Wifes google account it may be easier to do a factory reset and start over with your account - it won't effect (affect? I always forget which) anything else besides the tablet. You can also have more than one account and switch between them but I've never bothered finding out how to do that, my tablet is just for me. |

I had all sorts of problems with my PC gmail and gmail on my phone . I'm not up with this, but once Google gets a sniff your gmail phone and PC gmail are associated in any way they NEVER let go . Disassociation may be possible, but not with an IQ under 120 . I got 90% there, but Google is incredibly persistent, In the end I just cancelled my phone gmail account Which was hardly used . |

| 1442201 | 2017-11-24 18:47:00 | I got rid of my wife - electronically, that is . I had to go to ANY Google object and sign in in her name and then I had the option to delete her account on my Android Tablet first . I did that on the tablet because I think that's where the SYNC thing grabbed her InBox and it was in my Android Tablet first - here in Ubuntu-land next . After I booted her outta my tablet, I made sure that she changed her password . You shouldda heard all the moaning and snarffing from her . She HATES her password and only begrudgingly has learned to write it on a sticky and actually stick it behind one of her wall drapes in her room . It is DONE! She's gone . I hope she doesn't read this . (Who am I kidding - she's just a user . . . . . she ain't NEVER gonna read anything on F1) |
