1442169 2017-11-18 23:16:00 I been installing Thunderbird as a replacement for WLM. Its free and works Fine.

The only problem is its not to straight forward to import any current mails that are in WLM should you wish ( even with the import add-on) . There's a bit of mucking about but it can be done.

1442170 2017-11-19 01:47:00 You never need to spend money on an email client, or, for most people, on a word processor or spreadsheet program.

I went off local email clients years ago. Gmail with the browser interface is perfectly usable for most. Switching clients and trying to transfer email and contacts is for the birds. Been there and done that.

1442171 2017-11-19 20:17:00 I'm pretty sure Win Live Mail still works 100% if you use pop3 . 1101 (13337)
1442172 2017-11-19 23:27:00 I'm still using WLM(2012) with no probs bevy121 (117)
1442173 2017-11-20 00:22:00 you cut the "h" off the start of your link, that's why it doesn't work

Doesn't effect me, like linw I abandoned e-mail clients years ago. Web mail is just more convenient and saves worrying about such things.
Also the windows 8/10 mail app is also fine for most people if you must have a local client. I use outlook at work and Gmail in a browser or on my phone everywhere else.
I do have outlook at home and never bother launching it.

1442174 2017-11-29 05:16:00 I have found this app very useful. You can use it for free for up to 2 email accounts.
