684828 2008-07-03 00:53:00 I just got one of these for the shop...............first ever LCD........
It was a refurbished one from supplier, very cheap so worth it.

I have to say I think Viewsonics do have a better picture, but the colours are great! Very vibrant.
Text is kind of weird but that might be having gone from 1024x768 to 1440x900.
Text looks kind of thin?

And I was surprised by the room factor. Its not like I haven't sold tons of LCDs, but I thought it would just matter as far as depth on the desk goes, but it does take up a lot, lot less room.

Hmmm, might have to watch out for a refurbished/clearance Viewsonic for home now...........

I have also prefered the Viewsonic brand but last week I was asked for & sold a AOC 2217Pwc LCD Monitor and was quite impressed with it. Was previously under the impression AOC were not quite so good

The shop CRTs are limited to low res.........They're only 17"s.
At home I have a 19" CRT.

I don't actually like really high res - no desire at all to run 1600x1200 for instance.
