| 813584 | 2009-09-25 00:57:00 | My itunes output volume is so low compared to Windows Media Player. Both volume thingy is maxed but WMP is still louder by about 3 times. I have to turn my speaker volume to max to hear music on itunes clearly ................................................. OS: Win7 x64 itunes: Itunes x64 version (not latest) |

The latest Version of Itunes is 9.0.1.8 That came out yesterday - there was an update also a few days back, so obviously this one must be fixing some bug. Also check that some setting has not changed, open Itunes, Edit/preferences / Playback Tab - Default Settings (www.imagef1.net.nz) - apart from movies Playback ( on Mine) I changed it to open a separate window. |

I had a problem in the past where I had accidentally transferred songs on with a lower volume setting. Selecting all the songs, rightclicking on get options, what does the volume adjustment setting say? |
