812788 2009-09-22 10:12:00 I am trying to put a MP3 clip on my web page.

This is my code:
<embed src="ft.mp3" type="application/x-mplayer2" autostart="false">

When viewed with IE, the above code works perfectly. (I.E. WMP appears. I click the Play button and WMP plays perfectly.)

However, when viewed with Firefox 3.5, WMP appears but, when I click play, nothing happens!

With Firefox, when I RC the Windows Media Player it says "cannot find the file".
What's going on?

Thanks in advance.

812790 2009-09-22 21:38:00 I am trying to create a web site so that other people can play my MP3 clip. I can't control what plugin they have. Billy (6701)
812791 2009-09-23 05:02:00 Perhaps go to the Firefox/Mozilla support site (forums.mozillazine.org). Might require additional coding/parameters or even a roll back to an earlier version of WMP. Maybe try other MP3 web site software players (mp3freesoftware.blogspot.com),(My reviews), including the popular odeo (www.labnol.org) web player, or Yahoo media player. kahawai chaser (3545)
