And if school are buying more Macs that really pisses me off. When the students get to private industry they will find that only 5% of their employers use Macs. I am not being anti-mac just being practical. Agreed. Schools using MACs are handicapping their students. I was in awful trouble with the local Tech college - one of their HODs had a real go at me because the school I taught at used MACs. They had found they had to re educate those who had been using Macs. I pointed out that I had opposed the choice with all the strength I could muster, but the principal was the dreaded M. Hobbs. She organized a committee to come up with suggestions and then informed us that she had made the choice already and all we had to do was rubber stamp her decision. |

Just realised that the card I used will bounce now because I used it for something else after that and haven't topped it up.... Will someone tell me this eventually? Their subscriptions department is backed up a bit, as the person who takes care of subscriptions was away sick for awhile, I think they are currently working through the backlog |

But hey, what do I know. |

The subscription department is overloaded, the content is on a bit of a downward spiral - - So, what picture do we get here when all the pieces come together? The beauty of the system is that the subscription department will be on a dwindling duty cycle, so it won't bother very many people at all if they are a bit under resourced. The readership will soon consist exclusively of advertisers reading their own ads - and they get free copies (I presume.) |
