684268 2008-07-02 00:17:00 I read it - but it's a work copy. Would never subscribe to it.

Bit of a pity 'cause it used to be a great mag.

684270 2008-07-02 00:49:00 You people are not helping ensure the survival of pressf1 by making those sort of comments on the magazine forum - if the magazine folds due to lack of subscriptions there will be no forum either. Safari (3993)

Ae what?

Either way it's going to lose/is losing subs.

We're saying they need to improve things.

Well no, this is what you said
"Would never subscribe to it"

Great encouragement for anyone coming to the site.

Sorry - should have added with the mag in it's current state.

684274 2008-07-02 01:33:00 Kind of like saying you'd never subscribe to penthouse in it's current state though, huh?

Get rid of the girls, add hard hitting political debate, and maybe some public interest stories, and maybe...?

I'm sure PCWorld recognise that if something's not up to scratch, they'd prefer to be let in on it. Rather than just have mysteriously declining sales figures.

684276 2008-07-02 01:37:00 I too failed to renew the last subscription - or was it the one before that? Scouse (83)

So, lets prop up a magazine that isn't worth the paper its printed on, is so pro-Mac that Steve Jobs threw up and has enough ad's to make an ad executive faint all so that we can keep a slow, ad-infested forum alive.

Here's an idea: Maybe they could improve the magazine?
