This will doubtless be because the site is only 4 or 5 months old. It displays files from some of the earliest directories that I uploaded. It is still a rather clumsy way of doing it though, especially if I have to wait months for Google to crawl the site. Anyone have any other ideas? Scouse. The site is a basic reference only. You could try implementing image search within Google's CSE (now called site search), by signing up for a Google Ajax API key. (code.google.com) (I have been thinking image search for one of my sites). But it may require applying refinements and annotations (in CSE) and then editing/uploading a generated XML file, and I don't know what stage CSE currently is to get maximum image search optimization/function. All Business Com (www.allbusiness.com) describes the use of image use within CSE (though from May 2008) to an extent. But trial/error would be required... |
