| 813348 | 2009-09-24 22:42:00 | Get a mobo that supports USB 2.. Thats probably the main prob, youre using USB 1.1 Hi Speedy. I dont think that should matter much. as i have the PCI-USB 2.0 card which should support USB2.0 drives. Which actually in the other computer with similar situation works fine. |

| 813349 | 2009-09-24 22:47:00 | I found that even PCI cards dont work properly sometimes. Even tho this mobo supports USB 2 (the PCI card I use is a firewire one, but its got 3 USB 2 ports), the USB 2 ports dont always work with every USB device either | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||

But tats pretty **** aint it. USB2.0 not working with the USB devices, which is actually designed for them. Umm.... So is it the USB drives interface issue or computer's USB port issue? Just trying to figure it out thats all. So anyway, if i buy the below harddrive, is it going to work on my computer via PCI-USB 2.0 card? Or not? www.ifocus.co.nz ternal+Hard+Drive+-+Retail.html Thanks. |
