813056 2009-09-23 09:44:00 attempts of you typing in your password or something?

A mate has just called, saying she has been locked out of the admin acct. After so many attempts of trying her password. I have no idea if it does or not. I dont use passwords on these. Have no need to.

She's told me AFAIK she knows, the password wasnt changed. Its just locked her out (because she / or someone else got the password wrong, so many times)

Or, if you can login to another admin account, just type net user Administrator * in command prompt and type a new password when prompted...

813062 2009-09-23 10:48:00 I found a MS link, saying remove the acct from user profiles and delete the SID for it in the registry. So, I did. Seems to have fixed it..Seems to be working now. Nope its not a work PC. BUT, she does login to the court's system from it. Thanks for the info guys ! Speedy Gonzales (78)
