2009-09-23 09:37:00 | Over the last two days my upload usage has risen from 20-30MB per day to 818MB then to 1983MB then to 1741MB. Anyone have any ideas? Download usage is just normal though. I haven't been downloading/uploading any torrents or anything. Is there any way to check to see where it is going?

2009-09-23 09:38:00 | Sorry I didn't word that very well, 21st of Sept was 818MB, then on the 22nd it was 1983MB then on the 23rd (today) it is so far 1741MB. | xyz823 (13649) | |
2009-09-23 09:48:00 | Are you using wireless? Are you using P2P programs?? Are you infected with something? | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2009-09-23 09:53:00 | Yes have wireless, it is secured with WPA-PSK, use P2P but only torrentd and monitor them like a hawk. And am scanning with Eset Smart Security now. Have two computers so its a ***** to find out why it has suddenly shot up. | xyz823 (13649) | |
2009-09-23 10:27:00 | So is there any chance of like malware of anything? | xyz823 (13649) | |
2009-09-23 10:32:00 | Its possible...but I've never seen a virus use that much upload bandwidth in a day.. Post a HijackThis log. We may be able to deduct from it a culprit!:)
