813994 2009-09-26 10:05:00 I just tried installing the Batman game demo off this month's PCW DVD, but the self extractor said some files are broken, and I need to download a fresh copy. Did anyone find this? Is there a way to fix it? sammo450 (13626)

813996 2009-09-27 07:56:00 Copy/paste the file onto your desktop and run it from there.

You will need to get the file by going through the old fashioned methods rather then any retarded front-end put there to confuse the issue.

Right click your cd drive icon and select explore, then follow your nose, there is probably a folder called demo's or games.

Yep, mine wasn't working once (cover disc), so I took it back to the shop (I think it was Woolworths of all places) with the receipt and they gave me a replacement :).

814001 2009-10-01 06:20:00 It's a subscription magazine, so return is not really an option. I might just get a full version. sammo450 (13626)
814002 2009-10-01 07:23:00 Got a bit of spare time - and a spare couple of gigs - you can always download it from here (www.gpdownloads.co.nz) wainuitech (129)

Even more reason to request another disk.
