2008-07-08 08:27:00 | the $80 plan is OK-ish...... I was expecting more data for that kind of price..... I would have thought that for $250 a month you would get a $l0w-job from the sale guy every month :-) I suppose your going to tell me thats ok as long as you find out its a guy after the fact. Hopefully you have a short memory for  when it comes time for the follow up

2008-07-08 08:29:00 | Bu there's no catch on buying the mobile by itself is there because the website says iPhone 8GB iPhone 16GB $979 $1129 So does that mean if you have a contract already you can just buy it at $979? Seems a bit confusing the pricing

2008-07-08 08:56:00 | the executive on campbell live just said the product is so popular, people are queuing 2days b4 launch!! go geekzone! Geekzone are planning a protest - they will wait inline till the store opens then refuse to go inside. ;)

It sucks as an entry level plan. Vodafone are seriously over looking how much data will or would be consumed from web browsing and downloading of apps, music, watching stuff on youtube, emails etc obviously a lot of people will use the iPhone in wifi areas but we don't have a lot of them like they do in the US so the web surfing and mobile data would pick up the other end of that. |

2008-07-08 09:22:00 | what you mean buy a phone and not make phone calls with it??The iPhone is more of a communication device rather than just a phone. Sure, it will be used as a phone but for me (and many other people my age) it that would probably only account for a small percentage of usage, perhaps 10-20%. The other 80-90% would be text messaging and data usage. Bu there's no catch on buying the mobile by itself is there because the website says iPhone 8GB iPhone 16GB $979 $1129 The catch is that you can't use it on prepay, unlike in Australia. A contract is still a requirement despite the fact you aren't getting a subsidy.

2008-07-08 10:11:00 | Lmao. Its just a phone, Loaded with hype. Get a grip. I think that is actually Vodafone's problem right now, they got caught up in the hype and are expecting the hype will sell the product with their outrageous prices regardless of what the other 20 telcos are offering it for which is considerably less. The end result will be that they don't sell half of what they are expecting to move or should be able to move if they had offered the right data packages. O2 have stopped taking pre orders due to excessive demand for the iPhone. www.o2.co.uk They are actually offering what we "should" be getting.
